Hailey's Dance Rectial

 Hailey just completed her first year of dance lessons.  She took preschool ballet and tap.  When I signed her up, I was really curious to see how long she would stick with it and if she would really enjoy it.  I was also hoping she wouldn't be too shy to participate and learn.  She settled in quickly and seemed really excited for Thursdays to roll around. 

The recital was in early May.  Between work, running across town to daycare, getting Hailey ready and driving back to practice through road construction, recital week was a little hectic!

We also had a lot of fun!  Hailey got to wear a pretty costume and makeup.  Little Miss Princess was very excited about the makeup!  She pranced around like she was something special  (and of course she is). I will say I was a little stressed trying to get her hair to stay in a bun and getting the makeup just right, but I think we managed pretty well.

Hailey did really well on stage.  She wasn't scared one little bit.  She marched right out there with a smile on her face and danced her little heart out!   She's already asking when dance starts again!
